About me
I'm a compassionate art and expressive arts therapist in training. Using the creative process to nurture self-awareness, self-inquiry and self-compassion, I am devoted to supporting individuals and groups in promoting wellness, coping with stress and caring for themselves and others.
My work rests on humanistic, feminist, anti-oppressive and mindfulness-based approaches. I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts and hold a Master’s in Feminist and Gender Studies. I also completed a Yoga Teacher Training and support clients with breath and body-based techniques that are compatible with the art and expressive arts modalities. I am currently pursuing a Dual Diploma in Art and Expressive Arts Therapy at the Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy (WHEAT) Institute.
On the basis of affinity and lived experiences, I am available to support parents, caregivers, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, neurodiverse and neuroqueer individuals, as well as those facing mental or physical health challenges, including disability and chronic illness. I'm grateful to live on the traditional land of the Kanyen'keha:ka and Anishinaabemowin people under the Two Row Wampum and am committed to Indigenous solidarity, allyship and trauma-sensitive approaches to healing.
